How Care Is Coordinated

Maybe You Recognize Yourself Here.

You’ve been managing something for a while, and it’s starting to affect more of your life than you would like.

Maybe things have gotten difficult enough that weekly therapy doesn’t feel like enough.

Or maybe you don’t really know what’s wrong — you just know something needs to change.

You don't have to arrive with everything figured out

“That’s what the first conversation is for.”

Here’s How It Works.

01

Tell Us What’s Going On

Start with a confidential intake assessment. You can tell us what’s been happening, what you’re looking for, and what you hope will change.
02

Figure Out What Fits

A licensed clinician will help you understand what type and level of care may be appropriate based on your needs.
03

Start Your Care

Begin with the service that’s appropriate for you—whether that’s individual therapy, couples or family therapy, group support, psychiatric care, IOP, PHP, or a combination.
04

Let Your Care Evolve

As your needs change, your treatment can change with them. You may step up, step down, add another service, or eventually need less support.

What Makes the Work Work

Good mental health care isn’t just about finding someone with the right credentials.

It’s also about finding someone you can actually work with.

Our clinicians bring different specialties, therapeutic approaches, professional backgrounds, and perspectives to the practice. What they share is a commitment to thoughtful clinical care and a genuine therapeutic relationship.

Whether you’re sitting across from a therapist individually, working with your family, joining a group, or meeting with a psychiatric provider, the relationship matters.

Virginia Family Wellness was founded by Felecia Wilson. Her husband, Orlando Wilson, joined the practice afterward. Together, they have built a practice where strong clinical care and genuine human connection coexist.

What began with two people has grown into a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals serving individuals and families throughout Virginia.

The practice has grown. The reason for it hasn't changed.

People deserve good care from people who take the work seriously.
