Clinical Supervisor
Anne Catlett
LMFT, RPT-S, MBA
Hello, I'm Anne. I am a dedicated mental health professional with a focus on supporting children, adolescents, and their families who have experienced complex trauma. My professional journey has taken me through various settings, including hospitals, residential facilities, schools, and community health organizations. This diverse experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families navigating mental health challenges.
I currently hold dual roles as an Adjunct Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University's Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling program and a Program Director in the Medicaid Behavioral Health division at Anthem in Richmond. These positions allow me to combine my passion for clinical practice with my commitment to education and systems-level change.
With advanced degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and Business Administration, I bring a unique and comprehensive perspective to my work. As a registered play therapist supervisor and EMDR-trained therapist, I am skilled in providing evidence-based care to my clients. I am also passionate about mentoring the next generation of mental health professionals and am a certified supervisor for Virginia.
My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in systems, psychodynamic, and attachment theories. I firmly believe in the importance of understanding the broader context of an individual's life to address their challenges effectively.
